How do I download a version?

The Bible App needs to have a connection to the server in order to sync bookmarks, highlights, notes and share verses; however, if you have an account, you can follow the steps below to download a version for when you don’t have a signal or WiFi. If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to create one first.

1)     When in Reader mode, tap the version short code (beside book name and chapter number).

2)     Recently used versions: Select the version you want from this list or scroll down the page to see more versions.

Note: You can switch languages by tapping the dropdown with current language underneath the Recently Used versions list.
Note: Audio versions have a speaker next to them.

3)     Tap the green square next to the version you want to download.

Note: Only versions which display a green square are available for download.
Note: Audio is not available for download. Only the version text itself is available for download/use offline.

4) Tap Download.

Note: You can check the circle beside Let me know when it’s done so that you don’t have to wait for the download.
Note: Versions that are already downloaded will show a grayed out downward pointing arrow.
