The Bible App needs to have a connection to the server to sync bookmarks, highlights, and notes, and to share verses. But sometimes, of course, you won’t be able to connect to your service provider or to the Internet. For those times, sometime when you do have access, you should follow the steps below to download a version, so that you’ll have it stored locally on your device. (Note: If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to create one first.)
1) Home screen: Select Bible.
2) Scroll up to the version code (between the Home icon and the current Chapter) and select it.
3) Drop down menu: Select the language you want.
4) Scroll to the translation you want to download and select it.
Note: Only versions which display an arrow pointing down are available for download.
Note: Audio is not available for download. Only the version text itself is available for download/use offline.
5) Select Yes.
