Syncing bookmarks to the server requires that you have a free YouVersion account. Here are the instructions for signing up on the web.
1) When in Reader mode, select the verse(s) you want to bookmark by clicking on them.
2) Click on the “Selected” button that appears just to the right of the three character translation code.
3) From the drop down that appears, click Bookmark.
4) Optional: Give the boomark a title or label.
5) Click Save Bookmark.
