How To Switch to a different versions and languages?

When you are reading a Bible version, you can switch to a different Bible version (even a Bible in a different language) as follows:

HOW TO CHANGE VERSIONS BUT KEEP THE SAME LANGUAGE

1.  Tap the version code on the top of the screen.  (e.g.  KJV)     That will display a list with 3 parts

  • at the top are a few versions you have recently used
  • in the middle (grey bar) is the language associated with the Bibles listed below it
  • at the bottom is a full list of the Bible versions for that language in alphabetic order by short code name

2.  Scroll down if necessary to find the version you want, and tap on it.  It will open that version to the same verse you were viewing.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If you can’t find the list of English Bibles, perhaps you need to tap the grey language bar and change it back to English.

Choosing a language here does not change the app’s language… it just shows Bibles in that language.

Only a few non-English Bibles have audio recorded for them, and often the audio is for the New Testament only.  Versions that have audio, will have a speaker icon next to their name.
